Extreme weather hit around the world this past week. A crippling heat wave was felt around Europe and Asia, while heavy rains threatened to flood New York City.
In Washington, D.C., President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump hosted members of the government for a congressional picnic event. The president also traveled to Iowa to host a rally with his supporters.
In England, citizens continued to mourn those lost in the tragic fire at Grenfell Tower and during an attack at a local mosque.
