'I don't want you to get shooted': Scared 4-year-old pleaded with her mother after Philando Castile shooting

Dashcam footage of the fatal shooting of Philando Castile was released this week, and included heartbreaking video of a 4-year-old's pleading with her mother.

The video shows Diamond Reynolds, Castile's girlfriend, and her daughter as they were held in the back of a squad car shortly after Castile was shot seven times by Minnesota police officer Jeronimo Yanez.

In the video, the child can be heard telling her mother, "Please stop cussing and screaming because I don't want you to get shooted."

A handcuffed Reynolds yells and tries to take the cuffs off as her daughter goes on to say, "I can keep you safe."

Wiping away her tears, the little girl also says, "I wish this town was safer."

The officer testified he shot Castile after he thought the man was going for a gun. A jury found him not guilty of manslaughter.
