Chelsea Clinton slams Steve Bannon for ‘Sean got fatter’ comment
Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton has slammed White House chief strategist Steve Bannon for his "Sean got fatter" comment.
Clinton tweeted Tuesday, "The White House using fat shaming to justify increased opacity. 2017."

Bannon made the remark when the Atlantic inquired about the increasing frequency of off-camera White House press briefings.

The publication noted that both Spicer and deputy press secretary Sarah Sanders declined to respond to questions about the briefing changes. However, when "asked why the briefings are now routinely held off-camera, White House chief strategist Steve Bannon said in a text message 'Sean got fatter,' and did not respond to a follow-up."
On Twitter, when someone responded to Clinton's tweet, "It's a joke people," Clinton posted a follow-up tweet, "Oh ok. So using fat shaming to avoid answering questions about increasing opacity. Got it. 2017."
