During former FBI Director James Comey's testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Thursday, Russian election hacking was apparently the last thing on Twitter users' minds.
In Dem. Senator Dianne Feinstein's initial remarks, she made an off-hand remark to Comey, pointing out that he was "so big and tall."
We were already aware that Comey is a very, very tall man -- 6'8" to be exact.
But it seems Feinstein's "big and tall" comment proved to be some sort of sexual awakening for social media users.
Twitter users are currently in a tailspin of bizarre lust for the former FBI director –– and it's really something you need to see for yourself.
Twitter is set ablaze over "big and tall" James Comey
Feinstein says Comey is "so big and strong." Im seriously concerned that the next Democrat will begin their questions by making out with him
"Mr Comey, you are big and strong."
Dianne. Oh, my.
BIG AND STRONG https://t.co/qtURvGFUlu

@ashleyfeinberg Horny For Comey is a good band name

@ashleyfeinberg 6' 8". Big Hands 😳
Comey's tired eyes + folksy "lordy" + "big and strong" (per Dianne)
I hope Rubio also makes a comment about how big and tall and strong Comey is ☺️ #ComeyDay
Dianne F "Comey you're so big...and STRONG.." girl this a congressional hearing not a Zane novel.
I cannot believe someone ACTUALLY praised how "big and strong" he is. This is the thirstiest hearing I've ever seen
I know I can't be the only one who thinks Comey is hot. 🔥😜
I would marry #Comey 💍 I would "Love" to have a man of integrity. THATS WHAT SEXY!
Can we talk about how sexy comey is ? Like forget everything he's just so so hot
Not everyone, however, was ready to hop on the Comey bandwagon.
Some Twitter users found the comment completely inappropriate for the setting:
Others were simply flabbergasted by the nature of Feinstein's statement.
Whichever way you fall on the Comey spectrum, one thing is for sure: When it comes to focusing on the truly important matters, Twitter never lets us down.
