Twitter apparently thinks James Comey is really hot
During former FBI Director James Comey's testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Thursday, Russian election hacking was apparently the last thing on Twitter users' minds.
In Dem. Senator Dianne Feinstein's initial remarks, she made an off-hand remark to Comey, pointing out that he was "so big and tall."
We were already aware that Comey is a very, very tall man -- 6'8" to be exact.
But it seems Feinstein's "big and tall" comment proved to be some sort of sexual awakening for social media users.
Twitter users are currently in a tailspin of bizarre lust for the former FBI director –– and it's really something you need to see for yourself.
Not everyone, however, was ready to hop on the Comey bandwagon.
Some Twitter users found the comment completely inappropriate for the setting:
Awkward moment: Feinstein says to Comey, "you're big and you're strong." #ComeyDaypic.twitter.com/8PF7znGY86

Others were simply flabbergasted by the nature of Feinstein's statement.
Did @SenFeinstein actually say "you're big and you're strong?"

Whichever way you fall on the Comey spectrum, one thing is for sure: When it comes to focusing on the truly important matters, Twitter never lets us down.
