People of Twitter point out how much James Comey has aged during his testimony

James Comey testified that President Donald Trump and others in his administration were dishonest when they said agents had lost confidence in him during his long-awaited testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Thursday. But many on Twitter couldn't seem to get over how much the former FBI Director has aged since taking his the post in 2013.

"Me and my friend are tittering over how much Comey has aged since 2013," one user tweeted.

For the first time, Comey acknowledged that the FBI was scrutinizing the president's actions, adding that Trump's conduct fell within "the scope of" the bureau's investigation but that the president himself was not specifically under investigation. But as the camera cut zoomed in for a close-up on Comey's face, the internet lit up with reactions in response to the former director's baggy-eyed gaze, speculating that stress had been the factor in the former FBI director's aging face.

"Comey looks like he's aged 5 years in the last 30 minutes," one user tweeted, while another posted, "Comey looks like he's aged like 15 years since Trump took office."
