Former FBI Director James Comey testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Thursday, providing the internet with a slew of viral soundbites.
Thousands of Twitter users were thoroughly entertained during the event, but one phrase Comey uttered set the whole internet on edge.
In response to Donald Trump's suggestion that he may have recorded their conversations, Comey said, "Lordy, I hope there are tapes."
