There was, of course, Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader from Star wars, Tyrion Lannister from Game of Thrones -- and even an Oedipus Rex reference.

The first daughter has come under fire lately from critics for not taking a more public stand against her father regarding issues she has previously been an advocate for, including President Trump's decision to withdraw the United States from the Paris climate agreement.

Sources tell US Weekly that while she was disappointed with the president's decision to drop out of the climate deal, she ended up taking it in stride.

Recently the first daughter was slammed on Twitter over a statement she made to "celebrate and honor the LGBTQ community" at the start of Pride Month.

"You don't get to honor the LGBTQ community when the VP supports gay conversion therapy and your dad supports bathroom bills," one user wrote.

Another Twitter user said Trump, "openly supported and campaigned for the most anti-LGBTQ+ presidential ticket in recent times. Your words mean nothing to us," wrote another.
