During an interview on "Good Morning America," Conway was asked by anchor George Stephanopoulos, "Does the president still believe global warming's a hoax?"

Conway dodged the question by saying, "The president believes in a clean environment, clean air, clean water." Adding "He's received awards as a businessman in that regard, and he made very clear yesterday what he doesn't believe."

Stephanopoulos quickly cut in, asking for clarification on Trump's current stance on climate science.

"But does he believe global warming a hoax?" he asked.

The White House counselor deflected the question again, instead reaffirming that the president "believes in clean air, clean water, a clean environment."

"I'll ask it one more time: Does he believe global warming's a hoax?" he pressed again.

"You should ask him that. And I hope you have your chance," Conway finally said.
