Man looks thrilled to have been arrested in head-turning mugshot
Most people aren't exactly over-the-moon when they get sent to the slammer -- but Selket Taylor is not most people.
The 27-year-old Danville, New Hampshire, resident was pulled over by the Hampstead Police Department on May 29 for using his cell phone while driving.
After inspecting Taylor's vehicle, police say they discovered a "bag of marijuana in his cup holder."
According to police, Taylor has been charged with possession of a controlled drug, transporting a controlled drug in a motor vehicle and prohibited use of an electronic mobile device -- but you wouldn't know that by his mug shot.
In his arrest photo, Taylor can be seen gleefully sticking out his tongue while crossing his eyes and his arms, almost as if to say "Rock on!" rather than "Oh no, I've just been arrested."
As a public service announcement, the department says it would like to remind residents that "it is illegal to possess recreational marijuana in New Hampshire, even if you only 'smoke it in Massachusetts.'"
