President Trump is set to give a statement after his meeting with President Erdogan of Turkey on Tuesday as details emerge on his sharing classified information with Russian officials.
National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster addressed the press corps during a briefing earlier today, saying Trump did not cause lapse in national security, and that his conversation with Russian officials was "wholly appropriate."
The White House press pool will likely be on alert to see if President Trump will take questions during his joint appearance with Erdogan.
This event is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. EDT.
