Bill Clinton shares the sweet bond he has with an unexpected animal
At an appearance on Thursday, Bill Clinton opened up about the bond he shares with his pet ants.
The former president revealed at the Partnership for a Healthier America Summit that he is the proud owner of two ant farms.
According to PEOPLE, his staff gave the critters to him for Christmas last year. He reportedly keeps one of the farms on his desk at the Little Rock, Arkansas presidential library, but it is unknown where he keeps the other.
He brought up the ants in his speech because Edward O. Wilson's The Social Conquest of Earth says that ants and human beings are two of the most successful species on earth.
Clinton says this is because they are all masterful at cooperation.
"Diversity, inclusion and creative collaboration leads to better results," he said, according to Mashable.
