"I'm extremely embarrassed by my actions," the player, who's nicknamed "The Dark Knight," said.

He was reportedly partying at Manhattan Meatpacking District hot spot 1 Oak until 4 a.m. and called out sick with a "migraine."

"Yes, I was out on Friday night past curfew," he admitted.

According to Page Six, he had a meltdown when he saw his former flame, Victoria's Secret stunner Adriana Lima, hanging out with her ex-boyfriend, New England Patriots star Julian Edelman.

A paparazzi photo of Lima and Edelman going to Rihanna's Met Gala after party apparently sent him into a tailspin, according to the New York Post.

Harvey and Lima were photographed together earlier in the year in Miami during spring training.

"Adriana's relationship with Matt was never serious," a source told Page Six. "They are no longer seeing each other."

Harvey was back in uniform Tuesday night as the Mets beat the San Francisco Giants 6-1. He is slated to make his next start on Friday night in Milwaukee.
