This event has ended.

Former Obama officials Sally Yates and James Clapper are set to testify on Monday at a Senate sub-committee hearing on Russia's interference in the 2016 election.

Sally Yates was fired from her role as acting attorney general by President Trump on Jan. 30 when she refused to back the commander in chief's controversial travel ban. Yates is expected on Monday to detail her action while still in her role as AG of alerting the White House that then-national security adviser Michael Flynn had lied about contact with Russia's ambassador.

The hearing is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. EDT.
