Authorities remove gator from Florida swimming pool

Authorities made a disturbing find inside a Florida swimming pool on Monday.

Polk County Sheriff's Office responded to a call about an alligator inside someone's home pool.

They quickly arrived at the Cedar Cove home and handled the intruder.

The sheriff's office shared images of the gator to it's Facebook page.

Today, this guy (or could be a girl?) decided to go swimming in Cedar Cove (Winter Haven) but since it's #WaterSafetyMonth [the] Sgt...and Deputy...responded to make the pool safe again," the post says.

"Well they would have responded in any other month, it was just convenient to use that hashtag #welovehashtags."
