Melania Trump's Instagram: See everything the first lady shared in her first 100 days

Updated

First lady Melania Trump has remained consistently popular throughout her husband's first 100 days in office, but she hasn't been in the public eye quite as much as her predecessors.

After deciding to remain in New York City until son Barron, 11, finishes the school year, she's attended only a handful of official White House events.

But she has given the world a glimpse into her adventures as the first lady -- via Instagram.

Here are some of the highlights she's shared:

January 20: Melania Trump holds the "Lincoln bible" — a volume that was used during Abraham Lincoln's 1861 inauguration — while her husband is being sworn in.

February 11: Three weeks later, the first lady accompanies the Akie Abe, wife of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, on a visit to the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens, continuing the White House garden tradition.

March 1: The first lady met with patients, families, and doctors at the Children's National Health System, where she discussed their personal experiences and health care journeys.

April 3: The White House announces the release of the first official portrait of the first lady.

April 15: The first lady's only child, Barron Trump, makes his first and only appearance on his mother's Instagram at the Easter Egg Roll.

The same day, Melania Trump shares an image alongside her husband at reportedly private Easter brunch and egg hunt she hosted at Mar-a-Lago, which some people weren't happy about.
