Ivanka Trump reportedly bribed her angry neighbors with baked goods

It's no secret that Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner were not warmly welcomed when they moved into their Kalorama neighborhood in Washington, D.C. a few months ago.

Neighbors complained about constant Secret Service presence, parking complications and trash-pickup issues.

According to a Financial Times report, the first daughter tried "her own brand of diplomacy" to win over some of her fellow residents.

She knocked on her neighbors' doors with baked goods in hand and her children in tow.

"Lovely, just lovely," neighbor Rhona Friedman told Financial Times. "People who know her say the same thing: that she's very gracious."

According to the Washington Post, once "started screaming" and emailed the city when "No Parking" signs appeared outside her house after the couple arrived.

"We were a nice, quiet residential community and we've become a neighborhood where people take pictures," she told the Washington Post.
