First lady Melania Trump's noteworthy moments of President Trump's first 100 days

Updated

First lady Melania Trump has largely kept a low profile since her husband President Donald Trump took office in January -- but she has had some headline-making moments.

The first lady was lauded when she recited the Lord's prayer at the opening of her husband's campaign rally in Melbourne, Florida in February.

Most of her public events have been focused on visiting students and offering support to those in need. The first lady visited children at a New York City hospital, talked to students at a Washington D.C. charter school and spoke with survivors of domestic violence in Florida.

But the moment that perhaps raised the most eyebrows was when she hosted her first Easter Egg Roll at the White House. The time-honored tradition, which dates back more than a century, brought tons of scrutiny on the new first lady, and the event went off without a hitch.

However, it was Melania Trump's subtle nudge to her husband, who had not yet placed his hand on his heart as the National Anthem first began, that got everyone talking.

Check out that "nudge" and Melania's other noteworthy moments of the first 100 days:

The first lady and first son Barron Trump, 11, have remained living in New York City, while the president relocated to Washington after the inauguration.

The two are expected to make a permanent move to the White House in early summer when Barron's school year concludes.
