Politician shuts down homophobic commenter by calling his grandma

Brian Sims is a Pennsylvania politician representing Philadelphia's 182nd District. He's also gay, and has fought for equality during his time as a House Representative:
This week, Sims was faced with an online troll -- and circulated the internet for the way he handled it:
The troll had used derogatory words towards Sims, but he had the perfect response. In addition to slurs, this man also shared his grandmother's phone number on his page.
Sims called her and they apparently had "a disappointing chat."
"Dear Bigots, posting your grandmother's telephone number all over the same page you use to post slurs on other people's pages is not going to end well for you," he said.
Sims' funny response went viral, getting over 11,000 shares.
