Ilie Nastase makes bold new racially charged comment about Serena Williams' unborn child

In an attempt to smooth over his first racially charged comment about Serena Williams' pregnancy, Romania's Fed Cup captain Ilie Nastase followed up with another racially charged remark.

"Anything I say, I am the bad boy," Nastase replied when asked by the Associated Press about his comments speculating the skin color of Williams' future baby.

He followed up with a defensive comment to Romanian website news.ro, claiming what he said was not racist.

"If I said she would have an ugly, black (baby), that would have been racist," he said.

Nastase has been facing backlash since his comment about Williams' unborn child surfaced. "Let's see what color it has. Chocolate with milk?" the 70-year-old allegedly asked a member of his team.

Williams is black. Her fiancé, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, is white.

Williams posted a powerful response to Nastase initial comments on Monday.

"It disappoints me to know we live in a society where people like Ilie Nastase can make such racist comments towards myself and unborn child," she said in a statement on Instagram.
