President Donald Trump is set to host a joint press conference with Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni at the White House on Thursday afternoon.

Prior to the presser, the world leaders will meet and speak privately for the first time. Trump is scheduled to visit Italy next month to attend his first Group of Seven summit, where he will meet with other industrialized nations.
