Alex Jones ex-wife's lawyer: He forgot about his kids because he 'had a big bowl of chili for lunch'

Radio host and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones is embroiled in a custody dispute that has lawyers on both sides making shocking allegations.

His lawyer David Minton claimed that his bombastic persona is merely performance art.

Though Minton denied that Jones brings his troubling Infowars persona home with him, his wife Kelly Jones says that is untrue, according to the Austin American Statesman.

Kelly Jones' lawyer, Bobby Newman, presented her as a devoted mother who experienced emotional episodes while trying to contend with her husband's unstable relationship with their children.

Newman said during the deposition that Alex Jones could not recall basic facts about their kids, such as their teachers' names and classes, because he "had a big bowl of chili for lunch."

Newman added that Alex Jones has made "more money than any of us can imagine." He said he has two nannies to do everything.

The lawyer complained to Judge Orlinda Naranjo about Alex Jones' body language, saying, "can you tell Mr. Jones to stop making faces and shaking his head?"

The ex-spouses have not yet reached a settlement.
