The tomb, which was uncovered in the Draa Abul Nagaa necropolis near Egypt's Valley of the Kings, also contained a number of colorful wooden coffins and more than 1,000 funerary statues, AFP reported.
In a statement, the ministry said it believed the tomb likely belonged to a nobleman who worked as the city judge.
