Florida man accused of breaking into woman's home to fry chicken

A Florida man allegedly broke into a woman's home — but instead of stealing her valuables, he simply helped himself to some alcohol and fried chicken.

Ronald Wesly, 34, was found using Samantha O'Neal's stove cooking up trouble when she and her sister returned home on Wednesday, WOFL reports.

"He was in here, drunk as a skunk, just being Betty Crocker," O'Neal's sister, Melissa Stanley, told the station.

She was shocked to walk into the situation, but she took matters into her own hands.

"I just wanted him off the property, so I picked him up and threw him out the gate," she added.

When police arrived at the strange scene, Wesly said he was an acquaintance of O'Neal, and admitted he did not have permission to enter her home.

Wesly faces felony charges of burglary and larceny.

O'Neal said she saw the bright side of Wesly's intrusion — she shared the chicken with a friend, who said it was very well-seasoned.
