The White House has confirmed President Trump's son, Barron, and his wife, Melania, are moving to Washington this summer, according to a FOX News report.

As predicted, the first lady and her 11-year-old son are expected to move from Trump Tower in New York City to the White House once the school year is finished.

The president relocated right after the inauguration. FOX News reports the move has been planned for several months.

Recently the first lady has increased her presence in the public eye, particularly in Florida with her husband. In the past, there were multiple reports that she was avoiding the spotlight and potentially unhappy in her new role.

Barron Trump's move will also mark a milestone for the White House. John F. Kennedy Jr. was reportedly the last first son to live there when his father, President Kennedy, was in office in the '60s.
