Poll: Ivanka Trump is the most popular White House staffer

As President Trump's job approval rating remains historically low, a poll released on Wednesday is shedding light on the rest of the administration's popularity.

According to a new Morning Consult/Politico poll, Ivanka Trump is the most popular member of the Trump team with a 46 percent favorability rating. Trump's eldest daughter joined the White House last month in an official, but unpaid, capacity as an advisor.

The first daughter also received 36 percent unfavorable rating -- 17 percent of those polled said they never heard of her.

Survey takers were also asked about other top White House staffers, including controversial chief strategist Steve Bannon. The former Breitbart executive earned just 22 percent favorability, with 39 percent unfavorable rating -- however, 38 percent of respondents didn't know who he was.

Nearly 40 percent (39 percent) of those polled have an unfavorable view of counselor to the president Kellyanne Conway, while 30 percent view her favorably.

Sean Spicer, White House press secretary, received a 28 percent favorability rating, with 37 percent viewing him unfavorably.

Data for the Morning Consult/Politico poll was collected between April 6-9, 1,988 registered voters were polled.
