Homeowners find that 'thief' that broke into their home is actually hilarious

When a family returned to their Shorewood, Minnesota, home to find it completely in disarray, they were horrified -- but after a closer look, they had to laugh.

There was a wild turkey loose in the Peterson's family house.

According to a Facebook post by the South Lake Minnetonka Police Department, the turkey was perfectly comfortable perching on the couple's couch.

An officer arrived and flashed a light at the bird, who took off into the woods near their home. No one was injured in the incident, including the turkey.
