Well that was fun.

On Monday, the North Carolina Tar Heels defeated the Gonzaga Bulldogs to win the NCAA Championship to capture the school's sixth title. This came after a Final Four for the ages, where North Carolina took down Oregon and Gonzaga beat South Carolina.

That wasn't the only highlight from early this week -- Sunday and Monday marked the beginning of the MLB season, which will now carry us all the way through spring and summer.

Elsewhere in the world, golf's iconic Masters Tournament began, though without world No. 1 Dustin Johnson after he fell and injured his back.
