The past week has been a newsy one around the world.

Stateside, President Trump welcomed King Abdullah II of Jordan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi to the White House for separate visits.

In Russia, a suicide bomber detonated in a busy metro station, killing 14.

Severe weather also took a toll this week, with Australians still cleaning up after Cyclone Debbie, landslides hitting Colombia and heat rising in India.
