Masters weekend is filled with drama

Updated

It's the weekend that every golf fan lives for. Where players from across the globe come to compete for one of the most prized jackets in all of sports -- it's the Masters.

While the azaleas brighten up the course at Augusta, the drama leading up to the tournament is what everyone is talking about.

Rory McIlroy is trying to capture his first green jacket. He faced some controversy for playing a round of golf with President Donald Trump earlier this year.

Jason Day, the number three golfer in the world, is also looking to win his first Masters. But, he recently walked off in the middle of a tournament. That was just the day before his mother had surgery for lung cancer.

And last but not least, Jordan Spieth is hoping to bounce back from his 2016 collapse. He had the lead going into the 12th hole where he landed two balls in the water finishing with a quadruple-bogey 7.

So, sit back and relax, grab an Arnold Palmer, and get ready for one of the best weekends in sports.
