UNC vs. Gonzaga in the 2017 NCAA Championship

North Carolina won the NCAA men's national championship game on Monday night, defeating Gonzaga 71-65 in a title game that came down to the wire.

The Tar Heels claimed the win in spectacular March Madness fashion, earning the school's sixth national title. UNC was ready for redemption after last year's heartbreaking championship loss to Villanova.

After a tournament filled with upsets and buzzer-beaters, the two No. 1 seeds went head-to-head for the NCAA championship. The Tar Heels made it to the title game for the second year in a row, and after last year's heartbreaking loss to Villanova, UNC is ready for redemption. The Bulldogs, on the other hand, made their first Final Four appearance this season.
