Architects want to build a skyscraper that would hang from an asteroid

Architects want to build a skyscraper that would hang from an asteroid.

It's called the Analemma Tower and, if it's built, would hang 31,068 miles above the earth. It would be the world's tallest building. Architects want it to be built in Dubai.

They say the tower will go on a figure eight journey each day over the world's major cities. It would go back to the same position at the end of every day after 24 hours. Residents would have to use parachutes to reach earth.

Nasa says they want to retrieve a possible asteroid by 2021. There's no set timetable for completion.

And promoters are expecting record costs and prices, but architects say it's possible in the future.
