Singapore is looking to use 'flying taxis' in 2030

Singapore is taking transportation to futuristic levels.

According to the Business Times, the country is in talks with firms to make flying taxis their new mode of transportation in 2030.

New air travel ideas were shown Wednesday at the second Business Times leader's forum.

The ministry of transport's permanent secretary, Pang Kin Keong, says, "in 2030, you bet your money that aerial transport will also be a means of urban mobility."

In the more immediate future, Singapore is also working on on-demand public bus services.

While it's not Marty Mcfly's hover-board, a 'flying taxi' is still pretty impressive!
