Update: This event has ended

White House press secretary Sean Spicer will address reporters on Friday, after GOP House Speaker Paul Ryan told President Trump he doesn't have the health care bill votes.

Friday's briefing will wrap up a whirlwind week for the Trump administration, including a three-day hearing for Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch, an approval of the Keystone XL pipeline project and a questioning of the House Intelligence Committee after Chairman Devin Nunes went to the White House with information on alleged surveilling of the Trump transition team before he briefed his congressional colleagues.

The event is slated to begin at 1:15 p.m.
