The president of Planned Parenthood called out Ivanka Trump on Thursday, saying she needs to, "stand for women," in the face of a GOP health care bill.

Cecile Richards spoke to BuzzFeed News, calling the First Daughter's silence on legislation that affects women "deafening."

If the health care bill passes, Planned Parenthood would be blocked from receiving federal funding and national requirements regulating maternity care and other services would be eliminated.

Last fall, Ivanka wrote a piece for the Wall Street Journal, detailing her father's plan regarding maternity leave and child care. However she's stayed mum on the topic of late and is currently skiing with her family in Aspen.

As for the members of Congress set to vote on the bill on Friday, Richards remarked that some women would lose their lives if it passes, saying: "Any woman who votes for this bill is betraying every woman in America."
