ESPN: Michigan-Oregon will be the closest Sweet 16 game

The battle between the Ducks and the Wolverines will be the closest of the Sweet 16.

There are eight games in the NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16.

The following game will be the closest, according to ESPN's Basketball Power Index.

ESPN's BPI predicts that the contest between No. 3 Oregon and No. 7 Michigan will be the closest of the eight games part of the NCAA Tournament's third round.

The BPI has a predicted score of Oregon winning by just 1 point, and gives the Ducks only a 55.6 percent chance of winning.

The next-closest game, according to ESPN's BPI, will be the contest between No. 2 Kentucky and No. 3 UCLA. The Wildcats are projected to win that one by just 1.5 points.

Michigan and Oregon are set to tip off at 7:09 p.m. E.T. Thursday night on CBS.
