Alligator pulled from storm drain in Florida

A wandering gator found itself trapped in a storm drain in Oldsmar, Florida, on Monday.

John Ruel captured video of the beast's rescue and shared it on Facebook:

At first, it was tricky. The trapper had a hard time getting the gator out of the sticky situation, since it seemed to want to stay in its murky lair.

Eventually, the 9-foot monster was removed unharmed and relocated to an environment more nurturing than a storm drain.
