Footage of a behemoth of a rooster went viral on Sunday because its menacing size sent chills down the spines of Twitter users across the nation.

Yes, it's real. No, it's not a dinosaur or a man in a strange costume. But as of now, no one is quite sure who this terrifying king of all chickens is.

The average rooster we are accustomed to seeing can weigh anywhere between 1.5 pounds or eight pounds. Twitter users believe that this is a Brahma chicken, which can weigh between 14 and 18 pounds, according to The Livestock Conservancy.
