Michigan State has made the tournament every year since the 1997-1998 season. Last year they lost in the first round to No. 15 seeded Middle Tennessee 90-81. The Spartans have been in the Final Four seven times under head coach Tom Izzo.

Miami has made it to the Sweet Sixteen two of the last four years. A Sweet Sixteen appearance remains the best finish for the program.

Prediction: It's never a great idea to bet against Tom Izzo and Michigan State in the tournament, so I'm not going to. The Spartans take down the Hurricanes, and they do so in convincing fashion, winning by at least 10. They advance to the Second Round this time and find redemption after suffering such a stunning loss last season.
