No. 2 Arizona vs. No. 15 North Dakota preview: Game time, broadcast, betting line, prediction

The Arizona Wildcats (30-4) are the No. 2 seed in the West Region, and will take on No. 15 seed North Dakota (22-9). The game will be played at Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City on Thursday, March 16.

Preview: Arizona earned the No. 2 seed by winning the Pac-12 Tournament, after a great season, with wins over Michigan State, Oregon, and UCLA and USC twice each. They are led by sophomore guard Allonzo Trier, who has averaged 17 points and five assists per game since returning from suspension at mid-season.

North Dakota reached the tournament by defeating Weber State in the Big Sky Tournament. The Fighting Hawks are led by senior guard Quinton Hooker, who averages 19.1 points per game.

Announcers: Andrew Cataon, Steve Lappas, Jamie Erdahl

Opening Betting Line: Arizona -16.5, via OddsShark

This will be the first match-up between Arizona and North Dakota.

Arizona is in its fifth consecutive NCAA Tournament. Last season as a No. 6 seed, the Wildcats were upset by Wichita State 65-55. This is Arizona's 34th NCAA Tournament appearance. The program has advanced to 18 Sweet 16s, 11 Elite Eights, four Final Fours, and took home the 1997 national championship.

North Dakota is in its first NCAA Tournament, after winning the Big Sky. The program's only other Division I post-season berths were all in the CIT.

Prediction: Arizona has been absolutely rolling, with a 9-1 record in its last 10 games, and without a bad loss on the resume. The Wildcats are firing on all cylinders with Allonzo Trier back in the second half of the season, and freshman 7-footer Lauri Markkanen having a huge year. Gonzaga may have the top seed, but Arizona could wind up as the favorite to make the Final Four out of the West.

We don't see North Dakota being any match for the Wildcats. Arizona rolls.
