The North Carolina Tar Heels (27-7) are the No. 1 seed in the South Region, and will take on the No. 16 seed Texas Southern Tigers (23-11). The game will be played at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, SC on Friday, March 17.

Preview: UNC secured the No. 1 seed with big wins over Florida State, Duke, Louisville, and Notre Dame. They are led by junior forward Justin Jackson, who averages 18.1 points per game.
