Jimmy Garoppolo deletes 'Peace out Boston' Instagram after suspected hacking
New England Patriots fans were sent into a frenzy on Friday morning, when backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo posted a "Peace out Boston" Instagram message -- an image that has since been deleted.
Garoppolo's verified account displayed the image early on Friday, with a full caption, "So grateful for my time in New England. Peace out Boston." This sent social media into a tizzy over what many believed was the end of Garoppolo's tenure in New England.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport was quick to provide insider info, though, saying he spoke to a source close to Garoppolo who believed it was a hack.
Spoke to someone close to Jimmy Garoppolo who had no knowledge of any trade and believes it's a hack. Alas, it's 5:26 am now & we're all up

Garoppolo's role on the Patriots roster has long been a point of off-season discussion, and reports came this week of a Cleveland Browns "dream scenario" involving a big trade for Garoppolo.
Still, though, Josina Anderson of ESPN stated Friday morning that there were "no current talks" between the Browns and Garoppolo.
I'm told that there are "no trade talks" for Jimmy Garoppolo and the #Browns going on, at this time.
