A raccoon in New Jersey had a day it will likely never forget, no matter how badly it would probably prefer to.
According to WPVI, on Wednesday, personnel from Atlantic City Electric were alerted to an animal potentially in distress.
When they arrived at the reported location, they found the poor raccoon "stranded atop a utility pole," notes UPI.
As if that weren't enough, the furry creature had its head stuck in a jar.
Because a story like that is too good not to share, the rescuers snapped a photo of the no doubt vexed animal and shared it via Twitter.
This morning, crews safely retrieved a furry friend from one of our utility poles and returned it (sans jar) to the wild. 🐾 pic.twitter.com/IS8WVfaN40

Thankfully, workers were able to solve both problems and return the raccoon to the wild.
