Michelle Obama surprises students at D.C. school for International Women's Day
Former first lady Michelle Obama celebrated International Women's Day by surprising young women at a local combination middle school, high school in Washington D.C.
Obama visited Cardozo Education Campus in Northwest D.C. on Wednesday morning and shared the special moments via Snapchat.
"We're celebrating International Women's Day with a group of amazing women, and we're going to talk about the importance of education in their lives and mine," Obama's Snapchat story begins.

Shocked students can be heard gasping and saying "Oh my God!" as Obama made her entrance into the room.
"Did you know? You didn't know," the former first lady responded to the awe. "This school is amazing."
Obama met with young female students and participated in a roundtable discussion on education and goals for the future, according to PEOPLE.

Obama recently visited students at another D.C. school. Just last week she took time out of her schedule to talk to students at Ballou STAY High School, sharing the experience on Twitter and Instagram.
