Toddler left with dead mother's body alone at home for two days
A three-year-old boy was left alone with his dead mother's body for two days after she passed away from a severe asthma attack.
Mason Martin was the only person in the house when his mother, Lydia Macdonald, died in her bed at their residence in Scotland.
Macdonald's body was reportedly found by best friend Jodi-Ann when Martin opened the door, saying, "I can't wake Mummy."

Macdonald's mother spoke to The Sun about the tragic death.
"We were absolutely devastated," her mother said. "The light she brought to every room had gone out."
"Mason was alone with her. I have no idea what he thought or what he was going through," she added.
The three-year-old, who lost his father suddenly after his passing when he was eight months old, was found dehydrated.
He was able to survive for almost two days from eating a lump of cheese he found in the refrigerator, reports say.
Macdonald's mother has been looking after Martin since her daughter's death in 2014.
"Lydia was so strong and independent, she passed that onto Mason and somehow he managed to feed and water himself for all that time," she said
"We are now bringing up Mason and tell him every day that now his mummy is with daddy and they're both the brightest stars in the sky – and despite everything he's doing fantastically."
