Malia Obama spotted at Aspen hotspot over President's Day weekend

Former president Barack Obama's daughter, Malia Obama, was spotted in Aspen over President's Day weekend -- adjacent to a wild Colorado ski party.

The elder Obama daughter spent the afternoon with friends at Aspen hotspot Cloud 9 Bistro -- but her location, however, also happened to be the scene of one crazy President's Day celebration.

She and her friends reportedly stayed away from the party that consisted of over 200 bottles of champagne. Malia's elite group included the daughters of New York Giants chairman and Oscar-winning producer of Forrest Gump, Steve Tisch, Brice Lourd and Prince Tasillo von Furstenberg.

Her group was supervised by parents and others like fashion designer Monique Lhuillier -- a reported personal favorite of Michelle Obama.

Malia was spotted at the Bootsy Bellows nightclub that same night before returning to New York to work for the Weinstein Company.

In addition to this latest venture, Malia Obama was recently seen at the NYC premiere party for HBO's "Girls," a show with which she had previously interned.

Before that, the former first daughter was seen protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline at a Sundance Film Festival Event -- marking Malia's first post-White House political statement.
