Her friend, 13-year-old Liberty German, allegedly took the photo and posted it Monday. They were supposed to be picked up there that day, but they never showed up.

Sergeant Kim Riley of the Indiana State Police said at a press conference that foul play is suspected.

A coroner conducted the autopsies and confirmed on Tuesday that the bodies found were those of the missing teenagers, according to WTTV.

Officials from the Delphi Community Schools Corporation sent students home with a letter saying that the bodies were those of the missing girls, and offered counseling for those who needed it.
