Hundreds crowd in Chicago to moon Trump Tower in protest over his tax returns

Activists in Chicago decided to take an odd approach to protesting the president and how he has not released his tax returns: they mooned Trump Tower.

A Facebook event was created prior to the day to generate awareness. The "official" name of the spectacle was, "Kiss Our Asses, Release Your Taxes!"

The Facebook event also references a 2006 Maryland law that declared that mooning was an "artistic expression" and in one's First Amendment right to free speech.

They used the hashtag #RumpsAgainstTrump for the event. Photos and video was shared on Twitter, such as this from journalist Paul M. Banks:

Photographer Joshua Mellin also shared photos of the mooning on his Instagram page:

Organizer Bailey Davis, 20, spoke to DNAinfo about the protest. "Certain things get people on their feet. Not everybody is going to watch '60 Minutes' because they think it's boring," he said. "If you ridicule [Trump] or make him feel like he's the loser, that's how he blows up. That's what makes The Donald implode."
