Terrifying dash cam video shows wind-blown semitrailer crush patrol car

The Wyoming Highway Patrol shared a terrifying video via Facebook on Friday to remind drivers how important it is to heed weather advisories.

The dash cam video was captured on February 7 near Elk Mountain, Wyoming, after three troopers responded to assist motorists who were involved in previous crashes on Interstate 80, according to WQAD.

"All we ask is that you please follow high wind advisories and closures when you are traveling in our great state. Even if you plan to travel at reduced speeds," the highway patrol write on Facebook. "Hopefully this video illustrates why."

The cautionary video has racked up over 6 million views and nearly 128,000 shares since it was posted on February 10.

Thankfully, none of the three troopers were inside their patrol car when the massive vehicle came down on it.

Miraculously, even the semitrailer's two occupants escaped the incident without harm.
