Donald Trump speaks out about phone call with Putin

According to The Washington Post, President Donald Trump is hoping for a "great relationship" with Russian President Vladimir Putin and even called the leader this weekend to start things off.

The Post reports this is just one of several calls Trump made on Saturday to develop a rapport with traditional US allies.

Trump reportedly reached out to Putin in an attempt to fix their relationship after US intelligence officials pointed a finger at Russia, claiming it was involved in hacking government emails just before the election.
