Photos of the week: 1/20 - 1/27

The news remained very political this past week, as President Trump signed his first executive orders and millions around the country and world turned out to protest his presidency. The largest of these rallies took place at the Women's March in Washington, D.C.

International Holocaust Remembrance Day was also commemorated worldwide on Friday. Survivors of the Holocaust honored the millions of victims with a walk through the former Auschwitz concentration camp.

We also saw severe weather strike many areas, from devastating tornadoes in the southern United States to heavy snowfall in Morocco and the bright beginning of tulip season in the Netherlands.

Click through the gallery above for photos from all of these events and more, and be sure to check back next weekend for our selection of the best photography from the coming seven days.
